About Bonnie
Bonnie grew up around horses and spent most of her free time at the barn riding, mucking stalls, and caring for the animals she found so therapeutic. When faced with a choice on where to get her education and what life path to take she decided she wanted to give back to the equines she had come to love.
Bonnie graduated from Midway College in Midway Kentucky in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science specializing in Equine Therapy. From then she used her skills to help equines in high levels of sport to those in semi-retirement. She has worked on horses training and racing at Keeneland and Churchill Downs in Kentucky, Tampa Bay Downs in Florida, and Monmouth Park in NJ. As an eventer herself, thus far, the highlight of her career has been working on a few “Rolex/Land Rover” horses while they were competing at the former Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event.
After a brief hiatus, Bonnie most recently brushed up her skills and completed a Therapeutic and a Sports Massage course through the Rocky Mountain School of Animal Acupressure and Massage.
Bonnie loves seeing the change massage makes in not only a horse’s performance, but in their attitude. She loves helping clients in all disciplines “put the pieces together” to improve their partnership with their horse.
